I remember visiting Ground Zero a couple of years ago when I went on a break to New York City for 5 days. Has anyone else been to this place?

I remember how sad it was to see the names of all those people who were lost on this day thirteen years ago. It saddened my friends and me to see so many names at Ground Zero.

We walked around Ground Zero and read each name written on each of the pools that were built in place of the Twin Towers. It was an eerie feeling that swept over us all by just being there. We walked around the garden that was built nearby and at one point, I sat on a bench just to reflect on how such a tragic event must have hurt so many families that day.
On September 11th, 2001, I was at my home at around lunchtime. My husband worked for HSBC in London and had just moved into the new tower in Canary Wharf, London. He was on the 2nd floor, but I still worried. His office was eventually sent home that day. The whole thing was so tragic, I remember feeling sick to my stomach because of it.
