On Sunday 12th September 2010 my friends and I set off to Twickenham to see a show with many famous singers and comedians. Among them were Robbie Williams, Tom Jones, Gary Barlow, Pixy Lott, The Saturdays and many more. This was The Help for Heroes Concert.
By now, you may have noticed that I really do like attending live concerts. I went to the Help for Heroes concert at Twickenham Stadium in London, where I saw many great performances, such as bands, solo artists, dancers and comedians.
This concert was organised for all those that fought for our country, the United Kingdom. The concert had a successful turnout with at least 60,000 fans in the audience.
The Help for Heroes concert was shown live on BBC television on 12th September 2010. I can still remember it today.

The concert started off with a bang with Alesha Dixon singing 'Drummer Boy'. Tom Jones came on afterwards, singing 'Green Green Grass of Home', which was pretty amazing at the time. He told the audience that he chose that song because veterans often told him it was a special song that they liked to hear. Then came Katherine Jenkins singing 'Angel'. I remember how amazing it all was as the crowd cheered them on.
James Blunt, who was also an ex-serviceman at one point, came on stage followed by Enrique Iglesias who performed his ballad of 'Hero'.

British comedians, also, came on stage with Peter Kay introducing Robbie Williams to the crowd. Michael McIntyre was very funny was his unique jokes.
Throughout the show, there were many video broadcasts telling stories of wounded soldiers and their rehabilitation. Many stories were portrayed, which is why this concert was put together in the first place with the help of Robbie Williams.

Robbie Williams, also, performed with TakeThat and Gary Barlow. It was enlightening to see as I absolutely love listening to Robbie Williams' voice.
I enjoyed this unique and entertaining concert. There were so many great acts to watch. It was a dream come true to have been there and I will never forget it!
