The weather in England can be rough at times, but can it kill people? I am sure it can!
I heard about a man dying in Canvey Island's seaside town in Essex, UK, caused by Hurricane Gonzalo. It was a freakish accident. A family member of mine who lives in Canvey Island told me about it.
The man was working on his van when it happened. He had been working underneath his van when the jack collapsed because of gale force winds caused by Hurricane Gonzalo. The man was pinned between the ground and his transit van for around 30 minutes as the storms began.

He had been working under his van outside a house in Canvey Island, Essex, when it fell on top of him. The wind was so harsh that it knocked the jack out of place pushing the van on top of him. Ambulances were called to the scene to save the man. He was released from under the van after 30 minutes, but it was confirmed by Essex police that the man who was in his 30's died from terrible injuries, because he was crushed by the van.
There have been more deaths caused by Hurricane Gonzalo in London, which caused havoc around the London area.
